Marketing Partners Needed:

As most of you that come here know, racing is not a cheap sport. We are in a constant search for funding of our racing efforts. We operate as a media marketing outlet much like TV or radio and can provide some unique services to companies and organizations that normal newspapers and radio can not. If your company or a company you know would be interested in getting on board, please feel free to contact Reeve Racing: 517-563-2124. We would like to discuss the opportunities we have and the services we can provide. Thank you.

Partners as of May 1, 2010.

Go Time in less than 24 hrs for the 2010 Season!
Friday, 30 April 2010

It's been a long winter and we've already had some ups and downs... losing a major marketing partner is never a good thing for a race team but even when things are looking up for the economy, Michigan remains in a rut. However, we have had many friends come forward and offer help of all kinds just to get us on the track this season. Unfortunatly, We have some empty spots on the car still available. On a positive note, we would like to welcome Engine Surgeons to the team. They offer complete auto repair and they are located in Jackson on Lansing Ave. just acrossed from the train park. Stop in for all your auto repair needs and don't forget to tell them you saw them on Kevin's car!

As for the new car, it is done and we will be at Oakshade this Saturday...we are looking forward to getting back to the track to see all of our good friends and of course getting in some racing.

I didn't get much time to upload photos of the buildup of the new car, but over the next several days we will get that done. We think we found some things that could have hindered our performance last year...small things, but still could have had a major impact on our finishes.

The new rear spoiler slogan for this year is "Bad Company"...so if you've heard the newest remake of the song, you will understand the tone of this year's effort.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped us get thing on the road this year!

Mid-Winter Updates
Monday, 18 January 2010

Now that the holidays are out of the way, we can get back to getting the new car done. We picked up sheet metal this past Saturday, so Kevin can start on the body now. Front suspension is on and shocks are almost done. We are doing a wrap for the 2010 season and from the sounds of things it should be pretty cool.

We did find another problem with our first engine...the block needed another sleeve after finding a crack. Bad things happen when a rod bolt lets go at 8000rpm. At least Steve caught in time.

The sponsor list is shaping up, still not up to where we need it to be but it should get us going for 2010. Looking at a few new sponsors coming on board with a couple not being able to come back this year.

ScottyRocket Shocks has started a Twitter page for breaking race results and last minute updates as to where we will be racing...and the dreaded rain outs. So follow us at: http://twitter.com/SR_Shocks

We are thinking about a few more things for the fans, so stay tuned....should be an interesting year that's for sure!

End of Season Update
Sunday, 11 October 2009

Sorry for the late update on our last 2 races...it's been pretty busy around here lately with lots of racing stuff going on.

Our last 2 races didn't go to plan, with a mid pack finish and a DNF with a broken engine at the ALMS race at Oakshade. I guess the good thing was that we were moving towards the front when the engine let go.

Other other updates... we have sold the 2005 GRT as well as our 2007/08 Rocket and are now awaiting a new 2010 Rocket. We were contemplating some updates over the winter and found that the costs to do that would pretty much equal to what a new chassis would cost, so with that, we put our Rocket up for sale, 48 hours later, we had struck a deal to sell it and delivered it that following Sunday.

Our first engine is nearly back together and the 2nd one will take a while to gather all the things that it will need.

We are currently talking to prospective sponsors and have had some good feedback so far...so things appear to be looking up in that department. We sure could use a bump in our engine program that is for sure.

We also have a shirt sale going right now... $15 shipped or $10 picked up or dropped off if close enough. You can send an email to me at for payment details on shipped shirts.

All in all a pretty decent year for us, other than the engine issues, we finished 5th in points at Oakshade, pick up a win at Butler and won our first race at Oakshade(Kevin's 9th).... i should also add that Kevin never finished outside the top 8 and had 3 4th place finishes in a row at Mt. Pleasant in on the 5 visits we where there this year.

Stay tuned for more updates... hopefully we can document the building of our new car and post it's progress on the site as we work through the winter. We would also like to thanks all our friends and fans for the support this year, it was tough at times but you guys helped us through. Look for us to bounce back stronger in 2010.
