Marketing Partners Needed:

As most of you that come here know, racing is not a cheap sport. We are in a constant search for funding of our racing efforts. We operate as a media marketing outlet much like TV or radio and can provide some unique services to companies and organizations that normal newspapers and radio can not. If your company or a company you know would be interested in getting on board, please feel free to contact Reeve Racing: 517-563-2124. We would like to discuss the opportunities we have and the services we can provide. Thank you.

Butler Bound, Sept. 13th Wash Out.
Wednesday, 10 September 2008

That's right! We will be at Butler(as of this posting, things could still change) this Saturday. This is your chance to buy a Kevin Reeve T-Shirt. Just grab one of us when you see us or yell through the fence, or stop in after the races are over, we will be there later for those that want to come down after wards.

RESCHEDULED: Butler's Championship Night is not on Sept. 20th. We'll be there.

Sept. 5-6th, World 100 results, 2nd in the Non-Qual. Race
Wednesday, 10 September 2008

The Reeve Racing team minus Pauly made the trip to the famed Eldora Speedway for the 38th running of the World 100. This race is the Daytona of dirt and we would soon find out what it takes to make this show. Things would start off with qualifying and non-qualifier races on Friday night. We pretty much missed the gear for hotlaps and then the first round of qualifying. This place takes some serious power to be fast here. We would time in with a lap of 17.03s. The next round of qualifying would offer a drier track and mostly slower lap times. We made several changes and turned in another 17.07s lap. This would put us 131st out of 175 cars with the top 120 making the heats. We are pretty confident that the second lap would have put us in the top 120 if the track would have been better.

We would start 4th in our non-qualifier's race and shoot to 2nd in the first turn of the first lap. Then Kevin would spend the rest of the race chasing down the leader who was getting looser each lap. Kevin was able to get to the rear fender of the leader but had to back out when the leader cut down to avoid lapped cars. The top 2 were never chanllenged and were in a race all their own.

After that, we were in vacation mode and had a good time with the T3G gang and finally got to bed around 6am. Saturday, we pretty much just hung out around the pits and waited to see how things were going to go. We had a chance to be in the heat races as an alternate but that depended on how many others pulled out. We go the car ready for the heat race, but fell just 2 alternates short of running in a heat.

All in all a good weekend, we know where we need to improve....some things we can fix, others are not so easy, but we will be working on that as much as we can this fall and winter. We will try again next year.

Aug. 30th. Results, DNF
Wednesday, 10 September 2008

After a long season at Oakshade, it comes to the last ALMS series race. Kevin would run away with the heat race again, making it the 9th heat race win(i think) this year. He would get a good draw and start on the outside front row. After several yellow flags, Kevin would maintain the lead and try to hold off the charging Brian Ruhlman. Kevin would drop to the low line and make several laps there before Ruhlman would get by. Then Kevin would run just a little too low in turns 1-2 and clip the tires on the inside of the track and end his night with a DNF.

It's still been a good season at the Shade, we still have some racing yet to do this year which includes the trip to South Buxton in Canada, a return trip to the Fall Nationals at Eldora and probably a trip to Bulter at some point. The next race will be our run at making the World 100 at Eldora Sept. 5th and 6th.
