Marketing Partners Needed:

As most of you that come here know, racing is not a cheap sport. We are in a constant search for funding of our racing efforts. We operate as a media marketing outlet much like TV or radio and can provide some unique services to companies and organizations that normal newspapers and radio can not. If your company or a company you know would be interested in getting on board, please feel free to contact Reeve Racing: 517-563-2124. We would like to discuss the opportunities we have and the services we can provide. Thank you.

Partners as of May 1, 2010.

We been working on some major changes over the past couple of weeks. To give you an idea of how many things we can change...there are at least 5 major adjustments to the rear suspension not counting springs, tires and ballast locations, that we can make...if you factor all the possible adjustments there are right around 40 individual changes we can make to each end of the car. Many nights we only mess with 3 or 4, but when you get out of the park, you take a step back and look at what we haven't looked at. We did just that for the night before and talking to Kevin it has helped the car a ton. However, the results from this race did not show it.

We would get a little behind in the heat race by leaving the car the way it was from Mt. Pleasant...not the best idea looking back. Anyway, we made the right changes for the B-Main and did what we needed to do by running away with the B-Main win. On the feature where we would start 18th. Right from the get go, Kevin was on a mission, working his way to 11th before the first yellow flag. Just after the restart he was running the high line where nobody else was running...while passing 2 more cars, one would change lanes right in front of Kevin. Kevin has no chance to avoid hitting the car in front due to the difference in speed. Both cars would continue, but both had stopped on the track and would go to the tail. With only a hand full of laps left, Kevin would manage a 16th place finish. All in all, we were really happy with how the car is working on the dry slick track and are looking to improve our finishes as we finish out the season.

July 31st. Results: 4th

Mt. Pleasant Speedway has accepted us as one of their own this year...great people and a pretty neat little 1/3rd mile track. This would be a pretty typical night for us there, they redraw the top 4 for each heat race to line up the feature. We would get our typical deep draw and start 10th for the feature. We made some pretty big changes to the car this week, and we were hopeful that they would work in our favor. Being 25 laps, Kevin didn't have much time to get towards the front, but would work his way to 4th once again at the bullring.

Sometimes our luck  just never changes... yet another deep draw for the heat race. Would start 6th in the heat race...had a right rear tire get tore up while in the transfer spot. Dropped to 5th,  they were taking 4. Started on the pole for theh B-Main and ran away with the win. In the feature, Kevin would start 18th. At the green he would head to the top side and pass several cars, as the track started to dry, we obviously picked the wrong tire for the feature and Kevin's progress slowed when he got to 2 cars that were running side by side for nearly half the race. We would finish in 16th spot as several cars that were able to run low, got around Kevin and the 2 he was trying to pass. On to next week.
